The front steps of a small church after the morning service, people talking in twos and threes in the sun

For singles

Meet in the faith, with your privacy kept.

For unmarried members of Reformed Baptist Network and FIRE churches who hope to marry. Every member is affirmed by their own elders, which is not a background check. We tell you exactly who sees what.

What it is

Your church is small. The singles who share your faith are scattered, and the apps feel like shopping.

A quieter way to meet.

Known by their church

Every member is affirmed by their own elders as a member in good standing, free to marry. It is not a background check, so take your time.

Private until it is mutual

Say you are interested, and they learn it only if they are interested in you too. You can hide your profile from your own church.

A few at a time

A short list, with a clear end. No flicking through faces, no endless scrolling, no ranking by looks. Faith and character come first.

Your week

One week, on one screen.

Each week you see the people there are to consider, a few at a time, and the interests you have open. Nothing nags you to come back.

  • A few people at a time, with a clear end
  • Interest private until it is mutual
  • Introductions with no numbers shown
  • A kind way to close, at any time

Your privacy

Your elders are asked one question.

They see your application, never your profile, messages or interests. They hear more only after misconduct is found and acted on, a possible crime is reported to the authorities, or you report harm and ask.

See what other members see.

Your first name, age, region and church’s confession. Your words first, your photographs second. Never your last name, your town or how to reach you.

Questions

What singles ask first.

Will people at my church know?

Your elders know you applied. Others at your church see your profile only if they have joined and you have not hidden it from them. Interest is never shown unless mutual.

Who writes first?

When you are both interested, the man writes first, kindly and in earnest. A woman may ask that any man write first to her father or a counselor she names.

What if no one near me joins?

We will say so plainly, and never fake a crowd. You can widen your region, and we plan gatherings in regions, and at assemblies where the churches welcome them.

What does it cost?

A one-time fee, proposed at $10 or less, refunded if your elders don’t affirm you. Your pastor can waive it. Renewal is free.

Isaac's Well is not open yet. Every person, church and message shown is a sample. Affirmation is not a background check. The founding papers are proposals.
